Paper, Engraving Ink
The project consists of a reinterpretation of childhood photographs through chalcographic prints.
In “Printmaking II” the project started with a selection of photographs, followed by schematic drawings, in which the desired composition for each image and the different values of gray to be obtained with the acidulation were defined. Only aquatint and hard ground etching processes were used, allowing to articulate linear drawing (closer to a sketch’s expressiveness) with the application of tones.
